It’s a good question. There is a serious shortage of professionally executed material with real commercial value on offer from writers in the UK film industry.

How can writers produce great material without industry support?

We hear this a lot, too. And it’s an equally good question. While every effort is being made to discover and nurture capable writing talents, writer demand for professional contact, support and guidance will always outweigh supply in an industry that can only support a limited number of scripts and writers at any given time.
